Minors win county league final. Mayo Gael 1-7 Davitts 0-8
Well done to our minor team who beat Davitts in Hollymount on Sunday evening to capture the division 5 county league title. Davitts had led by 0-6 to 0-3 at half time but a great second half performance by the Gaels lads saw them get themselves back into contention. A goal five minutes from the end was the crucial score with the Gaels lads winning out on a final score line of Mayo Gaels 1-7 Davitts 0-8. Well done to all the lads and manager Jonathan Morrin.
