Clubforce to Develop Revolutionary Club Communications App

Clubforce recently announce plans to develop an enhanced mobile communications application which is set to revolutionise how clubs communicate with their members. Partly funded by the Irish Government and the European Union, this is a significant reinvestment in the feature-rich club management platform ahead of planned international expansion in 2019.

As we rebrand to Clubforce, we are also busy developing new functionality and making improvements to our club data management system, all aimed at making the life of the club volunteer easier.

This new app is intended to replace the existing app (available here on iTunes and Google Play) and will give greater peace of mind to club administrators, coaches, parents and members with concerns about how their data is shared. The completion of this project in early 2019 is set to evolve how club and society volunteers communicate with their member base, thus safeguarding club communications data in a post-GDPR world.

Project Description:

This project will provide sporting organisations using Clubforce with a new, secure mobile app-based communications channel significantly reducing the likelihood of misuse of member data.

The new app will retain features from the existing app and will also include new functionality to relieve the administrative burden on club coaches, allowing them to focus on training.

R&D initiatives at Clubforce are co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund and Enterprise Ireland under the Border, Midland and Western Regional Operational Programme 2014-2020.

A Key Manager has been co-funded in this company by the European Regional Development Fund and Enterprise Ireland under the Border, Midland and Western Regional Operational Programme 2014-2020.

The aim of this project is to provide sporting organisations with centralised control of how their volunteers communicate with members while ensuring GDPR compliance, data security and peace of mind for members and volunteers alike.

The app is earmarked for release in early March 2019 and marks another significant and exciting milestone in the company’s continued growth following the rebrand to Clubforce in November 2018.

To recruit a Key Manager who will bring skills into the company that are critical to future growth.

This project has resulted in the successful completion of a mobile application which has been launched on the Irish market in April 2019 with a view to internationalisation later in 2019.

The Key Manager commenced employment and is contributing to improvements in company productivity and to changes in output to meet defined market requirements.
