Dunsany GFC and Dunsany Ladies Football have just launched the on-line version of our Weekly Lotto today which facilitates (i) on-line entry to the Lotto (ii) reports of the Lotto results sent to you automatically every week and (iii) the option to receive by email a weekly Newsletter covering events, past and future, in both Dunsany GFC and Dunsany Ladies.
The first draw takes place on Tuesday 29th May and the jackpot is a very attractive €7,050 with €150 to be divided among those who get three numbers.
You can enter the Dunsany GAA Lotto for 10, 25 or 50 weeks, costing €20, €50 and €100 respectively. If you opt for 50 weeks you get two free weeks. Furthermore if you opt for three lines per week you get discounts of €10, €25 and €50 for the three respective options of 10, 25 and 50 weeks. So you would save €62 (remember the two fee weeks) by opting for three lines for 50 weeks. You can opt for automatic renewal or if not, you will be prompted to renew at the appropriate time.
The Weekly Lotto is a very significant source of funds for both Dunsany GFC and Dunsany Ladies and it is hoped that by adopting the on-line route we will greatly increase participation. It costs just €2 per week to enter and we ask all players, parents of young players, members, supporters and people from Dunsany and Kilmessan who are living elsewhere in Ireland or abroad to support the lotto. The additional funds raised will help both clubs to improve facilities, cater better for teams as regards playing gear, equipment and training and meet the ever increasing day to day costs of running the two clubs which between them cater for 20 teams at adult and underage level.
What we have now done is to make one of our main fund-raising ventures easily accessible not just to our own members and parishioners but to anybody, anywhere who wants to support Dunsany GAA. It only takes a couple of minutes to sign up for between 10 and 50 weeks in an efficient and easy to use manner. The current jackpot for next Tuesday’s draw is €7,050 and could rise to a maximum of €10,000 over the weeks so there is a lot of money to be won by lotto players also.
“Who gets my money – Dunsany GFC or Dunsany Ladies ?” :- The Dunsany GAA Lotto obviously benefits two clubs and the system will give people the choice of having their entry money go to
- Dunsany GFC only
- Dunsany Ladies only or
- Both Dunsany GFC & Dunsany Ladies in which case each club will get 50% of your money. This latter option will appeal to households who have players with both clubs.
The entry page will automatically default to the ‘Dunsany GAA Lotto’ option but if you want to allocate your money to one or other club only then select ‘Dunsany GFC’ or ‘Dunsany Ladies Football’ from the drop down menu showing ‘Dunsany GAA Lotto’ as a default.
