Toughest Opponent?

Anton Sullivan of Rhode in club football, Ian Coffey of Athlone CC in colleges football. Never liked marking Orrin Farrell in training either!



Favourite Grounds?

Edenderry GAA is a great pitch to play on, after that O’Connor Park.



Hobbies?

Films, reading, playing guitar and going out.

Influences On Your Career?

My Mother and Father, Emmett McDonnell, Niall O’Leary and everyone who has ever managed me.



The High Point Of Your Career To Date?

Winning the Minor final in 2007. That team completely dominated every game we played in.



Biggest Disappointment?

Losing the Minor final in 2008. Very disappointing considering the talented panel we had that year.



Sporting Ambition?

To have a long lasting senior career with Edenderry and hopefully win a few Championships.



Players With A Promising Future?

There are a lot in Edenderry. Daniel Nolan, Alex Kenny, David and Andrew Moloney to name a few.



Ways Of Improving The Game?

Consistency in refereeing, less handpassing. At club level, the championship would be better if the games were played off quicker, and if there was more emphasis on the u/21 Championship.



Dislikes About GAA?

Unaccommodating County Boards, and Championships dragging on into the winter.



Do You Have Any Relatives Involved In Gaelic Games?

My uncle John played inter-county football with Clare and club football with St. Senan’s of Kilkee, and my great grandfather Hugh was a founder member of Edenderry GAA.



Best Game Seen?

Offaly vs. Kilkenny 1998 All Ireland Hurling Final.



Best Game Played In?

Leinster Colleges semi final vs. Athlone CC 2008. Unfortunately, we were on the losing side that day after a great contest.



Best Goal Ever Seen Scored?

Seamus Darby, 1982 All Ireland Final vs. Kerry.

Adrian Mahon or Robbie Glennon

Scoring 3 o.g’s in one soccer season when I was younger, yet they insisted on playing me in defence!



What Would You Do If You Won The Lotto?

Travel everywhere and fund the building of a top class gym in the GAA club.
