PRO Notes for the 10th March 2014

Lotto tickets are now on sale and are available from the usual sellers or any club officer. This is the clubs main fundraiser and your support would be greatly appreciated. The proceeds of this fundraiser go towards the development of underage and senior teams, and maintenance of Nace O Dowd park. Our Annual Monster 25 Card Drive will take place on Friday 14th March at 9pm, in St.Nathy's Hall, 400 euro in prizes, plus Raffle. 10 euro admission. All support welcome. Our celebrity dancers have started their training preparations for the up coming Club Celebrity Jigs n Reels 2014 Development fundraiser which will be taking place in the Sligo Park Hotel on April 20th, Easter Sunday night. Ticket and all other details will be released over the next couple of weeks. Next Saturday 15th March the senior team play Shamrock Gaels in the Benson Cup at 4.30pm in Nace O'Dowd park. They are also down to play Ballmote on Sunday, March 16th at 2pm in Ballymote in the Benson Cup. The Minors play Calry / St. Josephs in Hazelwood on Sunday 16th march at 11am. The U-16 Team were beaten by St Farnan's in the 2nd round of their league campaign. Well done to Noelle Brennan who qualified for the Connacht final of senior scor in the Solo singing section. The final is on the 22nd March in Tubbercurry. Good luck to St. Attracta's College in the Connacht Senior A Final against St Gerald's, Castlebar this Saturday at 1pm in Ballina. The club is well represented by the following players, Stephen Connolly(capt), Eoin McDonagh, Pierce Gorman, Nathan Mullen, Niall O' Dowd, Conor Doyle and Gavin Feely. Bon voyage to senior player Sean Gorman who is travelling down under to New Zealand. We hope to see him back in the club colour's in the near future.
