PRO Notes for the 12th June 2017

Our senior team were defeated by Tourlestrane at the weekend in the Kiernan Cup, final score 2-15 to 1-11. Next up is Tubbercurry next Sunday afternoon in the Kiernan Cup, throw in 1pm in Tubbercurry.

Our junior team were defeated by St Molaise Gaels last Sunday afternoon, final score was 1-17 to 0-10. They take on Castleconnor this Friday evening, throw in 8pm in Castleconnor.

The next club monthly meeting will take place on Tuesday, 13th June at 9pm in St Nathy's Hall, all members welcome.

 

 

 

Our U-14 team were defeated by St Michael's last Thursday evening, final score 8-18 to 4-5.

Our U-12 team are in blitz action this Tuesday evening against Eastern Harps, throw in 6.45pm in Cloonacool Community Park.

 

Our Blue Kidz academy for all children from U-6, U-8 & U-10 level has commenced every Saturday morning from 10-11am in Coolaney Community Park. All new children and parents welcome. Your club wants you!

The club wish Rockfield & Achonry N.S the best in their respective Cumann na mBunscoil Finals taking place in Markievicz Park this Sunday. Come and support the future young stars of the club on their big day.

Work on the development of the walkway and boundary fence around the new playing pitch at Nace O'Dowd Park along with the development of a training sand area will commence this week. Gerard Love Contractors have been appointed as contractors for this phase of development. matches later in the summer. We invite sponsors to come on board at this exciting stage of the park development. Opportunities exist to sponsor two new dugouts, goal posts, and our new perimeter fence sponsor signs. The club can confirm the Annual 8Km road race will take place on Wednesday, 5th July at 7.30pm in Coolaney. Registration will take place on the evening from 6pm in Coolaney Community Centre. The childrens fun run will take place at 7pm sharp. All support welcome on the evening. Adults 15 euro, minors 10 euro, Family 40 euro. Register from 6pm at Coolaney Community Centre. Chip Timing. Refreshments served afterwards .

 

The club are delighted to announce that they will be hosting a Kellogg's GAA Cul Camp on the week 31st July-4th August in Coolaney Community Park. We encourage all parents to register their children by logging onto www.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie to book their place for the clubs First Official Cul Camp.
