PRO Notes for the 8th May 2017

The senior team next league encounter is scheduled to take place on the weekend 27/28th May away to St Mary's. 

Our junior team begin their league campaign this Sunday against Owenmore Gaels in Cloonacool Community Park. Throw in 1.30pm.  

The May monthly meeting takes place this Tuesday evening, 9th May at 9pm in Coolaney Community Centre. All members welcome. 

Lotto tickets 2017 are still available from any club officer. This is the Club's main fundraiser for the year and the continued support of the local communities is greatly appreciated. 

Our Minor team defeated St Michaels/Geevagh in their league game last Monday evening, final score 3-17 to 1-4. They are scheduled to play St Patricks this Thursday evening at 7pm in Cloonacool Community Park. 

Our U-16 team travel to St Pat's to take on St Pat's/St Farnans this Monday evening, throw in 7pm. 

Our U-12 team have another blitz evening this Tuesday evening away to Calry/St Joseph's, throw in 7pm. 

Our Blue Kidz academy for all children from U-6, U-8 & U-10 level has commenced every Saturday morning from 10-11am in Coolaney Community Park. New players & children are very welcome to attend. Your club wants you!

The club can confirm the Annual 8Km road race will take place on Wednesday, 5th July at 7.30pm in Coolaney. Registration will take place on the evening from 6pm in Coolaney Community Centre. The childrens fun run will take place at 7pm sharp. All support welcome on the evening. 

The club are delighted to announce that they will be hosting a Kellogg's GAA Cul Camp on the week 31st July-4th August in Coolaney Community Park. We encourage all parents to register their children by logging onto www.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie to book their place for the clubs First Official Cul Camp. 

The club have launched their own "O'Neills Club Shop" with plenty of club merchandise that includes jerseys, socks, shorts, club tops, trousers and jackets available to our members and supporters to purchase. Please refer to our club website at www.coolaneymullinabreena.com for more details.

Sligo GAA is organising a “Have a go Day” in the Sligo GAA Centre of Excellence, Scarden on Saturday 13th May from 2.30pm to 5pm and all parents and children and young adults are most welcome to attend this inclusive event. This promises to be a super feast of Gaelic games for children and parents and should be enjoyable, exciting and memorable for all.

Well done to  Criostoir Davey, James Conlon and all the Sligo Team & management  on their victory over New York for the opening round of the Connacht Championship at the weekend.
