Ratoath Musical Society presents: GOTTA SING GOTTA DANCE A Musical Celebration

Rehearsals are in full swing for Ratoath Musical Society’s next production, due on stage on June 4th next . “Gotta Sing, Gotta Dance – a Musical Celebration” is  a tribute to all that is great in Musical Theatre, a feast of classics from Broadway and the West End guaranteed to entertain all music lovers.

RMS (in association with the Auld Stand) who have brought us sell out shows over the past three years, including pantos ‘Cinderella’ and ‘Aladdin’ and the wonderful musical ‘Oliver’, are set to wow once more with a programme of spectacular pieces from best loved shows such as Fiddler on the Roof, Miss Saigon, West Side Story and Chicago, to name but a few. Directed by Irene Gaffney with Musical Direction from Ivan McKenna and Choreography by Orla Savage, this wonderful troupe has Navan’s Olivia Toman as Choir Mistress and features many local personalities and some very special guests.

RMS Chairperson Elaine Barry says “We are very excited about this show – it encompasses the very best of what we love and gives us a chance to best exploit the talents of our cast. Our wonderful production team have tailored this production to the strength of our members thus ensuring the quality and entertainment value of the performance”.

“ Gotta Sing, Gotta Dance” opens on June 4th and runs for 4 nightly performances. Sunday June 7th will be a very special night for RMS and for Ratoath. A Gala Benefit evening will begin with a Red Carpet Welcome and Champagne Reception provided by ‘As you Like It’ at the Community Centre. For those lucky enough to get tickets for this night a Grand Prize Draw will take place featuring thousands of Euros worth of prizes and, with tickets limited to a maximum of 500, everyone there will have a good chance of winning .

Profits from this night will be divided between the Ratoath Scout Group and local organisation People4People. RMS President Deirdre Kinsella says that the Society is thrilled to be in a position to ‘give something back’ to the community while providing wonderful entertainment on stage and a great night out into the bargain.

Tickets for Gotta Sing, Gotta Dance, are priced at only €15 each with tickets for the Gala night at €25.
