Well its down to two for the 2006 Co. Senior Hurling title. For the first time in 97 years its an “all East Cork” County Final. Cloyne and Erins Own will line up for the Blue Riband of Cork hurling. In 2003 when the crossbar denied Cloyne a place in their first final, few would foresee that they would go on to contest 3 final in a row. Cloyne are an example to every club of what dedication, determination and utter belief can do. Erins Own have had a rich harvest of County titles in their top grade of minor and under 21. they won their first County in 1992 and now 14 years later bid for a second. It could be a cracker of a game but I cannot see Cloyne losing this one. With Carrigtwohill and Bishopstown in the Premier Intermediate Final there should be a feast of hurling in the Park on Sunday.
