It’s just over a week away from our County Senior Hurling Championship quarter final game against Erins Own. The team has gone through a busy schedule of Co. League, Munster League and practice games since our last championship game against St Finbarrs. Without doubt Erins Own will be the hot favourites. With four members of the Cork Senior Hurling panel and having won Premier Minor and U-21 County Titles in the last three years, the Caherlag/Knockraha/Glounthaune side are indeed formidable opponents. We know that this will be a major test for us but at this level every game is tough. We have a few injury worries but hopefully these will have cleared up. Our game is fixed for Pairc Uí Chaoimh on Sunday week at 4pm with Cloyne v Midleton as a curtain raiser at 2.30. Hopefully we will have huge vocal support on the day.
