S.H.L vs Ballinhassig

On Sunday night last we travelled to the expansive Ballymartle GAA Club Grounds in Riverstick to take on Ballinhassig in the County Senior Hurling League. We had a great start but after that Ballinhassig began to dominate. Just three points adrift at the break the margin was still only four with seven minutes left. Ballinhassig finished very strongly and hit over 5 points in a row to win by 1-21 to 1-12. This was our last game before the championship and was a very disappointing affair. Despite being short 3 players, Ballinhassig were simply too good for us on the night.
