The club sends its condolences to the Doyle Family on the recent death of Willie Doyle. Willie was a member of the three in a row side from the Fifties. Also to the Mackey family on the recent death of Seamus Mackey. Seamus was Father to Ray Mackey who played senior football for Sarsfields.

Presentation; The Brennan Family will make a presentation to local Charities on Wednesday 9th Oct in the Clubhouse at 9 o Clock. This is from money raised from the Kevin Brennan Memorial Race which was held at the annual dog night recently.

Football; Best of luck to our Senior Team who contest the County Final on Sunday 13th against Moorefield. Over the last number of years these 2 teams have dominated county Football and served up some great Duals, particularly in the 2010 Final. May this be a great game of football and may the best team win.

Hurling; Hard luck to the hurlers who lost out on Sunday to Celbridge in the County Final. The club would like to thank Dinny and the rest of the team for their commitment throughout the year.

Time for the Flags; The club would like to thank all those who turned out During the week in the bad weather to put up the Flags around the Town. The Bridge looks particularly well all decked out in the colours. A special thanks to Glen Healy for bringing along the teleporter.

Pool Tournament; The Pool Tournament kicks off again on Thursday nights at 8.30, all are welcome.

Function Rooms; There are 3 Function Rooms available in the club which can cater for big and small Functions, Weddings, Christenings, Birthdays, Funerals, etc. Enquiries to Celene (087/7934780) Christy (087/9249884)

Skills Academy; The Dermot Earley Skills Academy is now in full swing on Saturday mornings and all new members are welcome. Times are as follows: 09.00 – 10.30 boys u8, u9, u10. 10.30 – 11.15 Girls u9, u10. 11.15 – 12.45 Boys u5, u6, u7, girls u5-u8. Looking forward to meeting new Members.

The Club Shop ;The shop is open every Saturday morning. It is well stocked out with all types of gear both casual and Training. Gum Shields are now available priced at €6. Also because of the upcoming County Final the shop will be open every evening from 8 to 9.

Club Lotto The club would like to thank all those who support the lotto and would like to encourage all its members to participate in the weekly Lotto draw. This can now be done by going on to the Sarsfields web site and clicking on the (play lotto now) link, then follow the step by step instructions.
