Bag Pack; The Club is holding a bag pack to raise funds, it will be held in Dunnes Stores on the following dates and times.
Thursday 29th Aug 6 – 10pm. (Minor and Feile Academy section)
Friday 30th Aug 6 – 10pm (Skills Academy Section)
Saturday 31st Aug 10 – 6pm (Senior Mens/Ladies, Hurling, Camogie and General. Volunteers are urgently required for each day. Please Contact Shirley Mulpeter (086/8568830) if you are available.

Best Wishes; The Club sends its best wishes to Anne-Marie Earley and Brian Coulston who got Married on Sat 10th Aug.

Function Rooms; There are 3 Function Rooms available in the club which can cater for big and small Functions, Weddings, Christenings, Birthdays, Funerals, etc. Enquiries to Celene (087/7934780) Christy (087/9249884)

Football; The Senior Team lost out to Athy in the Championship last Sunday evening, they now play Monasterevin on the W/E of 24th/25th Aug. The Minor team play tonight in Ballyteague against Ballyna in their opening match of the Championship.

Hurling; The Hurlers are out on Thursday 15th against Kilcock in the Championship. Venue Sarsfields at 7.15.

Ladies Football; Sarsfields Ladies Football section are now inviting applications for the posts of managers of the ladies football U15, U13 & U11 teams for the upcoming Autumn leagues. The U15 league is scheduled to begin on August 31st, no dates have been set for the start of the U13 or U11 leagues but it is expected that they will commence in September. All management teams must contain at least one female mentor to order to comply with the LGFA code of ethics. All candidates must fill out an official application form which is available from the Ladies Football secretary at ladiessecretarysarsfields@gmail.com or you can contact me (Liam O’Brien) by phone at 085-1560318. If you are interested in any of the above positions or have any questions then please don’t hesitate to contact me.

Skills Academy; The Dermot Earley Skills Academy is now in full swing on Saturday mornings and all new members are welcome. Times are as follows: 09.00 – 10.30 boys u8, u9, u10. 10.30 – 11.15 Girls u9, u10. 11.15 – 12.45 Boys u5, u6, u7, girls u5-u8. Looking forward to meeting new Members.

The Club Shop;The shop is open every Saturday morning. It is well stocked out with all types of gear both casual and Training. Gum Shields are now available priced at €6

National gathering This year as part of the national Gathering, Sarsfields will be inviting Sarsfields people and Newbridge people in general who are abroad, home for a weekend provisionally pencilled in for the weekend of the All-Ireland football final in September. If anyone would like to get involved in the project, offer suggestions or help in any way please contact PRO Seamus McGann on 087/2039726 or at sashproshea@gmail.com. There will be a committee set up Later in the Year to plan the event.

Club Lotto The club would like to thank all those who support the lotto and would like to encourage all its members to participate in the weekly Lotto draw.
