The Seniors had a good win over St. Kevins in Rd 9 of the SFL Div. 1 on Saturday evening last. Both Teams exchanged scores early on in the game until the 10th min when Sarsfields went on a scoring spree with a total of 3-02 in just ten min. It was Ray Cahill who was running the show as he was popping over the points and swt up 2 of the 3 goals. The first goal came from C. Tiernan after a great solo run from the middle of the park. This was followed by a C. Mcdonnell low strike to the net and shortly after that it was Robbie Comfrey who got the third. St. Kevins came back into the game near the end of the half but trailed at half time by 3-06 to 0-06.The second half was much the same as the home side were doing most of the attacking by putting up another 1-06 on the Board. This was from a Declan McKenna 1-02 and points from R. Cahill, R. Fitzgibbon, S. Cambell, J. Geraghty. The final score read Sarsfields 4-12 St. Kevins 0-13.
