Condolences     Sarsfields GAA send their condolences to the Harte Family on the recent death of Derek Harte. Derek who was originally from Ballyfermot, was a member of the club and also has children playing with the academy. The club extends their sympathy to his wife Lisa, his sons Tom, Luke and Ben, his brothers Jim, Gerard, Liam and Brian, sister Agnes, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, mother-in-law, father-in-law, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Also to the Mulhare Family on the recent death of Brother Bosco. Bro. Bosco, Patrician Brothers, Tullow, Co. Carlow and formerly Mountrath. Peacefully at St. Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny. Predeceased by his sister Mary McGrath. Deeply regretted by his brother John, sister-in-law Dolores, nieces Maria Ward and Aideen Timmons, nephew Andrew, grandnephews Eoin and Conor, grandnieces Hannah, Ellen and Eva, his Patrican Confreres, relatives and friends.

Best of Luck.  The club would like to wish Noelle early and the rest of the Kildare Ladies Camogie team all the best on Sunday 13th as they compete in the Intermediate All-Ireland Final.

Family Fun Day   The club will be holding a family fun day on the 27th of September. There will be plenty of fun and games for all the family, and all are welcome to come along. The day will start at 2pm and run until 5pm.

Bag Pack   The club held a bag pack over the weekend in Dunnes Stores and we would like to thank all those who came out and gave a hand.

Championship Time.  The Championship is now in full swing for all grades in the club from the Senior mens to  the U/16s and also the Senior Ladies to the underage girls. We also have players still involved with County Teams and the best of luck to all involved. Please come out and support the teams when you can. Sarsfields Club Car Draw 2015.  The club would like to thank all who supported the car Draw over the last 4 months. Also well done to those who were lucky enough to win a prize.

 

Dermot Earley Academy.  Our underage academy is now back in full swing on the Saturday mornings and all new members are welcome. Through the course of the year there will be 35 action packed weeks of fun and

Room for Rent.  Sarsfields GAA have a room available in the club for rent. Suitable for many types of business and also is kitted out with numerous power points and internet connection. For further information contact club Secretary on 087/6606035

 

Club Shop The club shop is stocking a large range of casual and training gear for all ages. The shop will be open on sat mornings from 9am and for any more Information  you can contact Angie on 086/0762710

 

Looking for old Photos and old Club Records  The Club are looking to build on its already large collection of photos and especially with some older Photos of teams or individuals. Also we are trying to put together as much Records as is possible from days gone by ie. AGM Reports, secretary reports, match reports and any match Programes. Any material that is given to the club will be given back in the same order. Second Hand Clothes Collection The club is still collecting second hand clothes and you can hand in your clothes in the morning or the evening when the club is open. For further info you can contact Christy on 087/9249884

 

Function Rooms There are 3 Function Rooms available in the club which can cater for big and small Functions, Weddings, Christenings, Birthdays, Funerals, etc. Enquiries to Shirley (086/8568830)

 

Club Lotto The club would like to thank all those who support the Lotto and would like to encourage all its members to participate in the weekly Lotto draw. This can now be done by going on to the Sarsfields web site and clicking on the (play lotto now) link, then follow the step by step instructions. Tickets can also be purchased from behind the club bar.
