The Annual Sarsfields Dog Night at Newbridge Dog Track is fixed for Augest 19th. Purchase a dog for €30 and gain admittance free and also have a chance to win a prize if your dog wins his race. However, the dog sale is progressing nicely and if you want a piece of the action contact Marie Clancy or any member of the finance committee immediately. Entry tickets are also on sale. Purchase your ticket from a member of the club and ensure that Sarsfields benefits.

The junior hurlers played out an exciting draw with neighbours Moorefield on Friday evening. This was a spirited and brave team performance as they lined out minus a few prominent players.

The Senior B footballers drew with Ballyteague. The junior Cs beat Ballyteague.

Family Day is rescheduled for Sunday 17th September.

A much-depleted U14 boys football team lost out to Sallins in the league final. Unfortunately boys at that age still holiday with their parents, a fact maybe should be considered when organising finals in peak holiday time. Seanie, Alex and all involved with the team have worked hard over the year so well done and remember there will be other finals these young boys progress and achieve their potential.

The next round of the senior championship is scheduled for Saturday August 12th. Sarsfields play Athy in a must win game. So all Sash supporters pencil in the date and be present to support the boys.

Please note change in Gym opening times. It is now open on Monday – Friday from 5.30pm. – 9.30pm. and on Saturday 10am. – 1pm. At €4 per member this is great value.
