Minors second win
Our minors played Carrigallen last Sunday and won by 0-12 to 1-7. We were without Enda Quinn through illness and lost Conor McTague through injury. This put pressure on the more senior players but the young lads that came in played their hearts out. In a poor game we were winning by 0-6 to 0-4 at half time. We played some lovely football for ten minutes and scored four unanswered points, then fell asleep and let Carrigallen back into it. . With five minutes remaining the sides were level at 0-10 to 1-7 but two frees from Shane Moran saw us winning by 0-12 to 1-7. Our next game is at home to Bornacoola at 12.00 on Sunday morning. Please support.

Comhbhrón – Stephen Dorrigan

The Sean O’Heslins club would like to extend sympathy to the Dorrigan family, Gortletteragh on the tragic death of Stephen Dorrigan. Stephen was an outstanding hurler and footballer and was well known in Ballinamore to all of our young footballers and hurlers. In particular he played hurling with many of our players such as in 2005 when the County Senior Hurling Final was contested by an amalgamation called Gaeil an Chontae. Stephen was at centre half back and many of the team were from Ballinamore. He was also an outstanding footballer and a year earlier, in 2004, he played for Gortletteragh in the Senior Football Championship final. Is trua mhór é a bhás chomh hóg sin agus ár gcomhbhrón dá athair, máthair agus deirfiúr.
Comhghairdeas
Congratulations to Geraldine and Martin Cunnane on the birth of their son Liam. No doubt in time a footballer in the mould of his grandfather Gerry McIntyre, not forgetting to mention his grandmother Patty also. Congratulations also from all the Sean O’Heslins Ladies and management
