On last Thursday night December 29th the County Final of Scór na nÓg was held at the Eire Óg GAA Pavilion in Ovens. Catriona Howard represented Bride Rovers in the Recitation competition. Catriona performed Maimie Flanagan’s speech from ‘The Field’. She was excellent but unfortunately did not figure in the prizewinners. Well done Catriona. Congratulations to the St Catherines Ballad Group who were the only winners from the East Cork division.
