November 8, 2018

Comhghairdeas mór leis na páistí camógaíochta agus peil a ghlac páirt i gcomórtas Scór na nÓg i gCumann Na Sáirséalaigh Leamhcáin, oíche dé Máirt seo caite . Bhí ceathair foireann as Naomh Olaf ann; foireann amháin a ghlac páirt sa Rince Céilí, ceann eile sa Ghrúpa Bailéad, an tríu cheann i dTráth na gCeist agus faoi dheireadh foireann sa chomórtas Nuachleas. Bhuaigh an foireann rince agus fuair na foirne Ghrúpa Bailéad agus Nuachleas na dara áiteanna.

A huge well done to members of our camogie, girls football and juvenile sections who represented Naomh Olaf in the Irish dancing, Novelty act, Ballad group and quiz categories of the south Dublin Scór na nÓg on Tuesday night in Lucan Sarsfields GAA Club. Scór na nÓg caters for the younger GAA members of clubs, its purpose to promote the Irish language, traditional Irish dancing, music, song and other aspects of Irish culture. Our dancers won their competition on the night with our novelty act team and ballad singers coming second. They all go on now to compete in the Dublin county final in Chraobh Chiaráin on 22nd November. Well done to Ciara & Niamh Donnelly, Sadhbh & Aoife Maher, Róisín & Fiachra MacLoughlin and Emma McGuirk, our representatives and many thanks to their parents who helped them prepare for the competition.
