Locallotto.ie

We have a new feature on the locallotto.ie system that will help Sean Treacy’s raise funds more consistently.  This is a recurring payment feature it has two components:

1. It will allow our supporters to simply click a button while they are buying a lotto ticket and in doing so, the lotto ticket will automatically renew at the end of the chosen period – essentially an electronic direct debit scheme.

2. A new report will now appear in our club administration panel.  This new report will give us full details on the status of all of the play slips where our supporters have chosen the auto renew option.

U21 Football Combo

Our u21 footballers played Lattin Cullen on Saturday last and were beaten on a scoreline which ended 4-07 to 2-04 and crashed out of the championship as a result. The Treacy/Solohead selection never really got into the game with Lattin dominating throughout. The combo let in three soft goals in the game which any team would find it hard to recover from. They were also 9 points down at half time but brought it back to 4 points early in the second half but that was the closest they came. Best on the day for the combo were Mark Hogan, Kieran Devitt, Greg Kennedy, Sean Hickey and Donncha O Brien (All Sean Treacys) and Brendan Collins (Solohead).

Intermediate Hurling

We played our first game of the Intermediate league on Sunday last against Ballinahinch in Ballinahinch. Ground conditions were very poor to say the least and our men found it difficult to grab a hold of the game. There was a strong wind there also and the Treacys failed to capitalise on this in the second half however Sean Hickey salvaged a goal in the second half when introduced. The game finished 1-15 to 1-10 in favour of the home side. We take on Ballina in Kilcommon on Sunday next at 4.30pm with a better performance required. Training is held during the week with all players expected to attend. The team that lined out on the day was: Kevin Ryan Liam Nolan Joey Ryan Simon Kennedy Pat Hickey Denis Stapleton Declan Hickey Jamie O Toole Tom Hickey Tom Ryan Paul Shanahan Joey Ryan(R) Ger O Toole Sean Kennedy Ollie Carr. Subs Introduced: Sean Hickey Dermot Ryan Seamus Butler.

Our second team played after the Intermediate game in a challenge against Ballinahinch and nearly came away with a victory however they lost out by a single point on the day. Some new faces were added to the side including: Andy Ryan(R) Joe Carey and versatile player John Butler who made his long awaited comeback. This is very positive to see and a great turnout also showed up on the day from both our teams. More of this is encouraged.

Congratulations
