Locallotto.ie

We have a new feature on the locallotto.ie system that will help Sean Treacy’s raise funds more consistently.  This is a recurring payment feature it has two components:

1. It will allow our supporters to simply click a button while they are buying a lotto ticket and in doing so, the lotto ticket will automatically renew at the end of the chosen period – essentially an electronic direct debit scheme.

2. A new report will now appear in our club administration panel.  This new report will give us full details on the status of all of the play slips where our supporters have chosen the auto renew option.

U21 Football

Our u21 footballers travelled to New Inn Saturday evening last to play a strong Aherlow team in the West Championship. The fixture was played under lights. Twenty minutes into the game things were looking very positive from a Seán Treacy perspective as the game was tied at 4 points apiece however the Glen boys, who had 5 senior players involved in last year’s success, responded with 2-04 unanswered. The Treacys were strong in the second half scoring a tally of 1-05 however the Aherlow men were too strong on the day and one would wonder how they are not involved in the A championship. The game finished 5-13 to 1-09 in favour of Aherlow.

Our next outing is against Lattin-Cullen under lights next Saturday in Cappawhite at 7pm.All players expected to attend.

Intermediate Hurling

We played our first game of the season against Shannon Rovers in a challenge at The Cross on Sunday last. There are a lot of positives and some negative aspects to be taken from this game as it is still early days yet. The game finished 1-21 to 2-11 in favour of Shannon Rovers. The team on the day was: Kevin Ryan Liam Nolan Joey Ryan Simon Kennedy Pat Hickey Denis Stapleton Declan Hickey Ger O Toole Jamie O Toole Donnacha O Brien Ollie Carr Sean Kennedy Tom Ryan Paul Shanahan Joe Carey. Subs: Paudie Carey Paudie Carr John Butler Colm Nolan.

Our next game is against Ballinahinch in Ballinahinch next Sunday at 3pm in the first round of the Intermediate League. All players expected to attend from both 1st and second teams.
