Locallotto.ie

We have a new feature on the locallotto.ie system that will help Sean Treacy’s raise funds more consistently.  This is a recurring payment feature it has two components:

1. It will allow our supporters to simply click a button while they are buying a lotto ticket and in doing so, the lotto ticket will automatically renew at the end of the chosen period – essentially an electronic direct debit scheme.

2. A new report will now appear in our club administration panel.  This new report will give us full details on the status of all of the play slips where our supporters have chosen the auto renew option.

So play online now by logging on to www.locallotto.ie

Insurance/Membership

The Gaelic Athletic Association will shortly begin the production of personalised 2010 membership cards. These cards will contain each member’s name, club, county, and membership type and membership number and will only be issued to 2010 paid up members. The practice where some people pay membership and some do not is unsatisfactory so the few people please meet Ger O’Toole to settle overdue membership- players €50, Students and non players €20 as official GAA membership cards will only be issued to paid up members.

Tipp Football/Hurling

Well done to our combo colleague Andrew Morrissey who was part of the Tipp team which overcame Laois and played so well in Senior Hurling against Cappa on the same day. We wish Liam and all the panel the best of luck against Wexford next weekend.

Senior/Intermediate/Junior B Hurling

We drew our Senior Hurling game against Cappa 1-8 each, which sets us up with the crunch game against Cashel on the 13th July which will decide whether Cappa or the Combo make the West semi. It was great to see Jody Ryan back in action and playing so well after his long lay off. Team S Butler A Morrisey P Shanahan T Hickey D Stapleton D Byron Joey Ryan D Hickey 0-1 C Morrisey K Bergin 1-1 P Murnane E Ryan T O’Brien P Morrisey 0-5 P Ryan 0-1 Subs Jody Ryan and D Browne

A draw for our Junior B hurlers was not enough to keep us in a championship that only lasted three weeks Team K Ryan S Costello TJ Quigley T Keane Simon Kennedy  S Kennedy 0-2 T Ryan S Mullins P Hickey 0-4 S Hickey 0-1 J Berkery S O’Dwyer P Carr 0-4 S Quigley 2-1 D Nolan Subs used Matt Ryan and Ger Gilmartin.

Our Minor Hurling combo St Ailbes were beaten by Kickhams 2-10 to 5-18 with Greg Kennedy goals, Andy Ryan corner back, Sean Hickey centre back, Tom Ryan centre forward and Joe Carey full forward who scored two great points but we still have two games to play against Arravale on Friday 2nd July and Cashel on Tuesday 6th July.

The Intermediates have a long wait to the next game when we play Arravale 25th July and Aherlow 1st August.

W e urge all supporters to contact an officer or team management before travelling to games as many fixtures can be subject to change.

Training continues at The Sean Treacy Centre every week.

Junior A Football

We play Solohead on Saturday 3rd July, Aherlow 9th and Clonoulty 17th so keep training.
