Junior A Football

Our game against Arravale at Cappawhite fixed for Wednesday 26th and refixed on Saturday 29th the eve of the Tipp Cork clash was called off at the last minute due to a failure of the opposition to field a team which normally results in a walkover.

Insurance/Membership

The Gaelic Athletic Association will shortly begin the production of personalised 2010 membership cards. These cards will contain each member’s name, club, county, membership type and membership number and will only be issued to 2010 paid up members. The practice where some people pay membership and some do not is unsatisfactory so the few people please meet Ger O’Toole to settle overdue membership- players €50, Students and non players €20 as official GAA membership cards will only be issued to paid up members.

Intermediate Hurling

We have exited the county league and now concentrate on the west championship. Training continues every week so the lads on long term holidays are welcome to come back

Junior B Hurling

No word of a fixture yet but at this stage we normally have something done so expect a challenge or championship soon so a bit of training would not go astray.

Tipp v Cork

It was great to see Brian Carey representing Tipp in the primary schools competition.

Well done to the Tipp lads on Sunday it’s the qualifiers for us now.

Tipp Draw

Thanks to all who have joined again as we have received fantastic support and well done to Barry O’Brien Nenagh/Dublin a former Fresher’s UCD selector who won the Jeep.

Looking back

In 2008 we lost the Intermediate Hurling west final to our current combo partners Galtee, the Junior B football west final to Arravale and the Minor football county final to Solohead. We won the U21 west football final against Latin and the double county hurling and football finals overcoming Ballinahinch so roll on 2010 championship.
