Sean Treacys Bord Na nOg

Our u14s hurlers travelled to Cashel on Wednesday the 13th, to compete in the second round of the Feile Na Gael hurling competition.  The young men of the blue and gold fame, having already won the first round game playing a great Cashel side.  Treacys’ played with great conviction, went to the dressing rooms leading Cashel by a goal.  The second half was played with great pace and skill.  Despite the staunch efforts of the Treacys, Cashel sneaked a couple of goals and went on to win. This was a great display by a very young under 14 Sean Treacy’s hurling teams.

Sean Treacy’s u16 football team had a good win over the Cappawhite side on Friday evening. Treacys’ are now to go on to play Eire Og on Monday evening the 19TH.   Sean Treacy’s teams are amalgamated with Emly in this competition

Cul Camp, a fun camp for kids, will take on July 5Th to July 9Th.  Completed registration forms should be returned to Ml. Ryan.  Over seventy children attended last year’s camp.  The organisers are hoping to increase the number attending this year.  All sessions will be conducted by qualified coaches from the County board. For full details, call Ml.  Ryan at 087 2520316 or 062 77112.

Sean Treacy’s sport day on the 9th May will be another fun day for the youth of the parish. A variety of activities will be available for parents and all age groups of kids are catered for.  The good news is that the day’s activities are free. Training continues for our u8s, u10,s u12s, u14s teams at the hurling field, from 10.30 to 12 noon on Saturdays.
