Our rescheduled agm is fixed for Sunday 24th January at 5 pm at the New Club house. All members are welcome to attend and new members are welcome to join on the day. Thanks to all who paid membership last year and we hope that all two hundred club members will renew by Feb 1st. Please submit your motions to Pat Carr Secretary Thursday 21st at 6 pm. Club History
We had success at U21 level in 1989 when we defeated Eire Óg in the West Final 2-6 to 0-9 and in 1990 Sean Treacy’s / Aherlow defeated Golden in the West Final 2-8 to 2-5 and defeated Templemore 1-8 to 1-3 in the County Final. Mary Ryan Mulqueen took over as Secretary from Paddy Ryan C (U21 Manager in 89/90). Please forward to any club member a photograph or information on the 1965 Sean Treacy Minor Hurling Team which was narrowly beaten in the West final where the winners won the County final.

1982; In the photo of the Sean Treacy senior team county semi finalists that appeared in this paper last week John Hickey who played at corner back against Roscrea was named as Tom Farrell in error. Tom did play at centre back a few years later.

Buy a Brick
The new Clubhouse started in Feb 09 and is almost complete. This new venture for the club sees continued improvement to our facilities which we have undertaken in the last number of years. These developments include improvements through draining and sanding of the existing playing surface, installation of new goal posts and large nets behind each goal area, construction of retaining wall the increase safety in the car park area, installation of flood lighting, construction of a spectator stand and finally the New Club house. We would love you all to become part of this project by having your name printed on a plaque on the wall inside the Clubhouse.

Sympathy
We extend our sincere sympathy to Ryan Matt family Hollyford on the death of Pat Ryan Matt. Pat played hurling for Sean Treacys at both Junior and Senior for many years.
