Senior Championship Opener deferred until June 14th......

November 8, 2018

It was the weekend everyone was looking forward to in Garrymore but unfortunately the clubs senior football championship opener, which was due to take place this weekend, May 30th/31st has been postponed as a result of Aghamore having players involved in the Connacht Junior Championship Final in Carrick-on-Shannon this Sunday. Johnny Monaghan’s side have been preparing over the past number of weeks for the trip to east Mayo but the game has been deferred to Sunday, June 14th 2009 at 3pm in Aghamore with Declan Corcoran as referee. The Mayo junior side, ironically managed by Garrymore man Billy Fitzpatrick, play the connacht final against Roscommon this Sunday before the connacht semi-final between Leitrim and Roscommon in Pairc Sean Mac Diarmaida. Garrymore GAA Club wishes the Mayo junior side the best of luck this Sunday in the final.
