Senior Footballers in League Final

Annaghdown’s Senior football team played an Cheathru Rua on Saturday in their final League game. Although we lost on a scoreline of 0-7 to 0-6, the senior team have qualified for the League final by finishing second behind an Cheathru Rua in the League stages, where once again we will face an Cheathru Rua. This was a very good team performance in very testing conditions, and the final two points scored in the last few minutes made all the difference. The League Final will be played next Saturday, 14/11/09 at 2.30 in Clonbur. Once again, please support the senior team in the final game of the season
