SENIOR HURLING CHAMPIONSHIP:

Kilmoyley  advance to the semi-final of the A.I.B County Senior Hurling Championship when they had six points to spare over a youthful Crotta side at Austin Stack Park, on Saturday evening, 14th August In Round 3 on 120 to 211 final score line. The sides were level at half time Crotta 106 to 009. Crotta  scorers were Shane Nolan 209 and Andrew Keane 002, The lads in Green and Red have another opportunity in Round 3, In the other games of Senior hurling championship, Ballyheigue and Lixnaw finished level 117 to 020 after extra time
Causeway advanced to the 3rd round with a victory over Abbeydorney on the score 115 to 08, while Ballyduff defeated St Brendan’s 311 to 29.

KERRY U-21 HURLERS:

  • Best wishes to  Crotta players Richard Nolan, Sean Weir ,Shane Nolan, Paul Costello,  Darren Twomey, Jonathan Caffrey and Eoin O�Sullivan who are members of the Kerry U-21 hurling panel  who play Fermanagh in All Ireland U21 B Hurling Championship  on Saturday 21st August in Pearse Stadium, Galway at 1:30 p.m.  Referee Sean Whelan-Loch Garman.This game is a curtain raiser to All Ireland Junior Football Championship final between Kerry and Sligo at 3.00 p.m. Referee Damien Brazil-Uibh Fhaili
