Senior Hurling Draw

November 8, 2018

The highlight of the Cork GAA Co. Board Convention at Pairc Uí Chaoimh on Saturday night last was the 2007 championship draws. Breaking with a long standing tradition the Convention departed from the usual Sunday to a Saturday and overall it worked out well. Despite the fact that a special Co. Board meeting was held shortly after the Convention we were on the way home before midnight.
For the Senior Hurling championship this coming year we were drawn against St Finbarrs. We defeated them in Round 3 of this year’s championship after a thriller. The Togher side will be all out for revenge. With a likely date of the first weekend in May for this game it’s only eighteen weeks away. St Finbarrs have got a bye in the senior football championship – normally played in early April so their focus will be entirely on the senior hurling championship.
