SFL Div 2: Éire Óg 2-23 Clonmore 1-8

November 8, 2018

The Intermediates suffered a heavy defeat away to Eire Og in the last match of the League.  They now have two months to re-group and prepare for the first round of the Championship against Kildavin/Clonegal on the weekend of 30 July. The IFC Group also includes Ballinabranna and Fighting Cocks.

In the meantime, we will be participating in a 7-a-side tournament being run by Kiltegan GAA on 10 June to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of the sudden death of Sean O'Toole, former player, trainer and Chairman of Clonmore GFC, originally from Penny Hill, Hacketstown.

Team: Gary Byrne, Andrew Byrne, Shane Murphy, Willie Byrne, Paddy Gahan (0-1), Anthony Byrne, Larry Doyle, Enda McGrath Snr (0-2), Darren McGrath, Daniel Quigley, Con Murphy (0-3), Francie Whelan, Enda McGrath Junior, John McGrath (0-1), Niall Humphries (1-1). Subs: Josh Bowes for Willie, Adam Byrne for Enda Jnr, Collie McGrath for Daniel, Alan Humphries for Darren, Cormac Malee for Andrew, Pauric Lawlor for Con.
