SFL Div 2: Kilbride 0-12 Clonmore 1-9.

November 8, 2018

The Intermediates picked up their first league point tonight away to Kilbride. In spite of having an abundance of possession, we kicked a lot of wides with the result that we went in behind by 0-6 to 0-4 at the break. The lads kept plugging away and a very good passing movement resulted in a goal by Daniel Quigley, giving us a one point lead on 61mins. But Seamus Grey equalised with a 30m free in the 64th min – the last kick of the game as darkness fell. Clonmore played well but missed too many scorable chances. We nearly nicked it in the end but a draw was a fair result.
