Football

U21

Well done to the U21 footballers who had a 3-09 to 0-14 win over Kilannin in the West Board Final. The game had to be moved from Killannin to the Prairie after a pitch inspection out in Killannin ruled the pitch unplayable. Luckily the Prairie is still in good nick and the game went ahead at the later time of 3.15. Conditions were very tough and either team could have won it in what was an extremely tense and tight game. That extra bit of quality SK had pulled them through in the end and they now go on to face Moycullen and try to retain the West Board title in just over a weeks time.
