SKGAA Newsletter 30/05/18

November 8, 2018

A chairde,

Notice: The club has recently erected a small sign at the front of the Árus reminding people that no ball playing should take place in the carpark at the front of the Árus. This comes after damage was done to the sign at the front of the building on 2 seperate occasions. It was caused by players hitting sliotars off the wall while they were assembling at the Árus to travel to a match. We are asking all coaches and parents to remind their players not to play with sliotars and footballs at the front of the building and that if players do arrive before the coaches when assembling for a match that they use the wallball area behind the Árus. There is a significant cost in getting these letters fixed and replaced and we want to avoid doing this again if possible.

We are gearing up for féile the weekend after next. A lot of work has gone on in the background for the past 6-9 months among both hurling and camogie committees so we thank them for all their hard work. They are on the last lap now. We will have details for all matches and activities in next week's newsletter.

Things have quitened down a small bit with exams on the horizon and many leagues finishing up but still much to report on below.

All the information below....

The club would like to extend their sympathies to Mick Culhane and his family follwoing the death of Mick's father Patrick G. Culhane who will be laid to rest this week.
