The St. Patrick’s Ladies GAA Club AGM was held on Friday the 18th of January 2013 in the Clubrooms in Cloneen. The following Officers appointed for the coming year: Chairperson: Pat Morrissey, Vice Chairperson: Helen Hogan, Secretary: Helen Hogan, Treasurer: Siobhan Vaughan, Assistant Treasurer: Paula Ryan; PRO: Úna O’Brien. General committee members: Trish Strappe, Ann Marie Ryan, Marie Meaney, Caitriona Boland, Mairead Foley, Fintan Morrissey, Niamh Morrissey. Team coaches/managers: Under 6s: Margaret Hogan and Emma Horan; Under 8s: Ann Marie Ryan, Siobhan Vaughan, Shelia Butler and Caitriona Boland; Under 10s and 12s: Helen Hogan, Trish Strappe, Milo McGrath and Úna O’Brien; Under 14s and 16s: Pat Morrissey, John Ryan and Alasdair Mac Donald. Junior Team: Shane Ivors and Nigel Cleere. G4O Team: Helen Hogan and Trish Strappe. Outgoing secretary Rebecca Hayden and outgoing chairperson Úna O’Brien thanked all outgoing officers, committee members, coaches, players and parents for all their work and efforts throughout 2012 and conveyed their good wishes to all for the year ahead. Under 12 girls training has recommenced indoors and will be held for the next two Saturday’s in Drangan Community Centre from 11.30am to 12.45. It is hoped to start outdoors on Saturday 23rd February – weather permitting. Under 14 and 16 Under 14 and 16 girls training has recommenced indoors and will be held on Tuesday evening’s in Cloneen Hall from 19.30 to 20.30. Junior Team Junior Ladies training will recommence Drangan Community Centre on Monday the 04th of February at 8pm. Gaelic for Others Team Gaelic for Others Team training has recommence in Cloneen Hall on Monday and Thursday nights at 7.30pm and will continue for the coming weeks. Previous football experience NOT required. New players are welcome to join the fun and games at any time.
