Under 14s
The U14s had their first competitive game (Summer League) recently in Cloneen against Cahir. Cahir only had 13 players so a shortened pitch was played. St Patrick's were on top from the beginning and had a number of goal chances early on but were unfortunate to come up against a very good goalkeeper who made some outstanding saves. At half time St Pat's held a 4 point lead. The second half Cahir came more into the game and certainly were on top for the first 15mins of this halve and got within 2 points of St Pat's . The heat was also a factor and the girls had to put in a huge last 10 mins as Cahir pressed hard and at the final whistle the score was 2:6 to St Pats and 1:5 to Cahir. All round the field there was outstanding performance from Goalkeeper,  defence, midfield & forwards and the subs that came on played a important part to close out the game. Well done to all the girls.
