Suncroft U 14 Feile B Semi-final Match Report

November 8, 2018

Suncroft qualified for this year’s Feile B final when they defeated a young Castledermot side in Suncroft last Sunday morning.

Unlike their previous games, The Croft started slowly and after 15 mins found themselves 0-3 to 0-1 in arrears, but then Paul Dempsey playing full forward found the Castledermot net after some fine work from Anthony Delaney and Ryan King.

From then on the Suncroft boys raised their game and Castedermot were found wanting. Eoin Lawless who came in at top of the right was causing havoc in the Castledremot defence. Dylan Mc Dermot who was playing on the same wing showed his class when kicking some fine scores with both feet.
In the back line, full back Jack Moriarty was in total control and with Brendan Kane and Eoin Troy totally dominant in their respected areas the Croft ran out 4-10 to 0-6 winners.

Best of luck to Brendan Kane, Ciaran Troy, Kack Moriarty, Colin O’ Modhrain and Jason Kelly who are trialing for Kildare this week.
