Under 12’s

St Mary’s complete their first round of games with an away win against Naomh Padraig, Lifford on a wet and muddy pitch. James Kee and Dannan O’Kane dominated the midfield throughout the game and the St. Mary’s lads always looked comfortable. They converted their first half possession onto the scoreboard to leave them with a substantial lead at half time. This may have been closer only for a good Paul Kelly save and a great goal line clearance from Mark Bonner. In the second half both side found the heavy ground demanding with most of the play around the middle of the field. St. Mary’s ran out convincing winners with scores coming from Simon McGlynn (2-4), Dannan O’Kane (0-1), James Kee (2-2), Luke Witherow (0-1). It was a good overall team performance. Team: Paul Kelly, Curtis McBride, Gavin McLaughlin, Erika Wilson, Mark Bonner, Darren Bonner, Anthony Bogle, Dannan O’Kane (0-1), James Kee (2-2), Corey O’Kane, John Toye, James Sweeney, Dale Lafferty, Simon McGlynn(2-4), Luke Witherow (0-1)
