Work on the clubhouse project continued at the weekend with a significant milestone being reached. The concrete slab was poured for the new Alll Purpose Room at the clubhouse. At 7.30am there were 23 workers on-site waiting for the first concrete truck, and by 9am there were up to 36 willing workers onsite. the raft was poured, walls were plastered and even some pitch maintenance was done. Fair play and many thanks to ALL who are contributing their valuable time to the project. Our Senior Chairmen Ken Fox and the cuddley Liam Hynes are currently in talks with the worls leading sports company Nike, who are interested in renaming the facility as the ‘Just Do It Stadium’.
