The 15

November 8, 2018

The 15's travelled to Bandon Saturday morning for a 10am kick off without seven players & to add to their woes Christian Byrne pulled up in the warm up with a reoccurrence of an injury that had kept him out for 3 weeks. Adam Maye came in as a make shift winger while Lee Morley deputised in central defence. Despite that Crosshaven started brightly & should have been ahead. Zach Murphy headed over while Lee Davies was denied three times by the Bandon keeper. The second half saw more of the same with Liam Connolly being introduced to provide more fire power but the break through remained elusive for both sides. Best chance of the second half came when Connolly played Maye in only to be denied once more by the Bandon keeper. There was a scare for Crosshaven though in the final minute when Conor Finn had to produce a smart stop before Peter Lehane cleared the danger. Some great performances for Crosshaven especially from Max Harvey, Lee Morley, Adam Welch & Lee Davies. Final score Bandon 0 Crosshaven 0.
