The U15 side visited Togher Saturday morning for a clash with League leaders Everton at 10am. Crosshaven were determined to leave Coffey Field with all three points to kick start a promotion push as the team currently lie in fourth position. Any game against Everton tends to be a tough physical battle with today being no exception. A blinding start by Crosshaven saw them race into a 2-0 lead which they held up to half time.

Lee Davies turned provider for the outstanding Diego Campos who raced through on both occasions to fire in two fantastic goals. The second half saw a much improved Everton side force their way back into the game drawing level with ten minutes remaining to set up a nervy ending. Crosshaven weren't finished though & when the question was asked they responded in style. Lee Davies chased a hopeless cause into the corner before providing a pin point cross for Zach Murphy to nod home the winner. The visctory was no more than Crosshaven deserved who at all times tried to play football. Special mention must go to Diego & Lee who were absolutely superb backed up by a resilient team to fire Crosshaven back into the reckoning. Just three defeats in 11 league games since promotion to Division 1. Very impressive stats from the 15's.
