First of all, Congrats to Tom Farrell, Des Joyce and Carol O’Connell, helped by Edel Murphy for their tremendous achievement in reaching the Hurling Feile Semi-finals in the Justin Cheevers Cup ast Sat, having topped their group with 2 wins over Mellowes & Mullagh and a draw with Micheal Cusacks. The U12 and U13 footballers had a great Friday & Sat with the UK Coventry Roger Casements team…. Fri pm was spent in Loughgeorge at the Centre of Excellence [thanks Alan Mulholland] and Sat in Pearse Stadium [thanks Mick Culhane] Niall Breen is credited with all the photos, loaded already onto Club gallery, and to Pat Comer, Kevin Conlon, Sean Armstrong Jun for Fri pm. Top of the credit goes to Aidan Hoare, who micro-managed and man-managed the entire event.
Other match results were wins last Tues by both U16 and U15/16B squads, win by U13/14b,win by minor footballers. Girls u12 had their game postponed and U16 girls lost in Caltra. Both U13 and u14 football matches due Friday were postponed due to hurling feile. Any other match results…..?????…..
Congrats to Matty Heskin, Gearoid Canavan and Gearoid Armstrong, all SKGaa members of the u21 Galway footballers and now Connacht champions, they play Kildare I believe in All_Ireland Semi.
Juvenile Hurling thanks all who supported their fund-raising table quiz last Thursday in Sheridans, Knocknacarra and also to Sheridans themselves who gave €500 to their feile fund.
Good luck this weekend to Feile Football Squads…. the U14A are at home with Barna, Moycullen and Clarenbridge while the U13/14B are in Rosmuc with Carraroe, Spiddal, Carna-Casieal-Na Piarsaigh and Lettermore.
