Tough Draw For Offaly

The first round of the qualifiers draw sees Offaly with a tough game against Tyrone this game will be in O’Connor Park on Saturday 29th of June or Sunday the 30th.

Rhode Senior footballers gained their second brace of points in this year’s championship when they had a hard earned 1-13 to 1-6 win over Tubber in O’Connor Park on Saturday evening. Rhode led at the interval by 0-7 to 1-1 after playing with a very strong wind. A second half goal by Paul McPadden was the vital score of the game. Rhode were without Anton Sullivan and Conor McNamee, Pauric Sullivan was suspended while Eoin Rigney and Garrett McNamee are gone to America for the summer.

Rhode Under 12 were beaten by Birr in the league on Wednesday evening in Birr on a 5-5 to 4-7 score line.

There was no winner of the Rhode GAA Lotto for the week ending 17th of June for a Jackpot of €13,800. The numbers drawn were 15 19 24 25. The club like to thank all those who supported the draw and thanks to O’Toole’s for the use of their premises and for their help and cooperation.
