U-14s win in South Mayo championship. Hollymount-Carramore 3-11 Mayo Gaels 3-14

 

Well done to our U-14 team who travelled to Hollymount on Thursday evening and came away with a win in the first round of the South Mayo championship. Played in ideal conditions both sets of players put on a wonderful display of football. It was a tight affair throughout but the Gaels lads put in a late surge to seal victory and a place in the next round. The final score was Hollymount-Carramore 3-11 Mayo Gaels 3-14. It was a great overall team performance from the Gaels lads with scores on the evening coming from Liam Rushe 2-1, Liam Hughes 1-4, Francis Regan 0-4, Darren McGurrin 0-1, James Jennings 0-1, Kevin Kenna 0-1, Ryan O’Donnell 0-1, John Gallagher 0-1.
