Congrats to Swords Celtic on winning the inaugural u14 Celtic International Academy partners cup.
swords ran out 5-0 winners in the final v Ballymun with an outstanding display of quality passing and attacking football; however it took a while to break down a spirited performance by Ballymun United.
In the semis swords beat NTFC u13s whilst the NTFC u14s lost to Ballymun on penalty kicks. NTFC 14s led for most of the game, had two goals disallowed and created many chances but a last minute strike from Utd took the game to dreaded lottery that is penos.
Big tks to everyone for great football, good vibes and a real decent sporting occasion where we win or learn and make friends and enjoy the game. Well done everyone.
Special tks to our SDFL U13s and DDSL A1 U14s who had a good challenge and all the little players in the mini world cup for making this an absolutely cracking day of football and friendship and playing the game the Celtic Way.
