Edenderry u 14s maintained their 100% record in Ballinamere/Durrow last Friday evening on a score line 7- 14 to 2- 3.
The final score suggests Edenderry must have cruised to victory but playing against a stiff wind in the first half, Edenderry with a lot of ball seemed to over pass the ball giving away possession when scoring chances arose, and went in at half time 2-3 1-3 ahead.
Edenderry were masterful after half time with every attack yielding score after score and outscored
Ballinamere/Durrow by 5-11 to 1-0. Once again it was a wonderful display of football from these young men.
The backs as in every game are consistent, B Lynch J O Connor and E Farrell stood tall in every Ballinamere/Durrow attack. Once again L Hyland & D Maloney dominated midfield, J Hayes S Osborne, P Mc Namara and C Farrell took some fantastic scores.
This u 14 team are a joy to watch, their ability and team play has so much to offer Edenderry now and in the future.
