U14 hurlers back in training

November 8, 2018

Kinvara U14 hurlers started up for the new year this evening in the astroturf. A bunch of 21 eager young lads turned up to kick start their year. Under the supervision of caretaker managers Brian Crossan and Garret Byrne, the lads were put through their paces with the help of Mark Kavanagh, and the two county lads, Shane Kavanagh and Colm Callinan.

The lads had a good workout, with much thanks to the three senior hurlers for giving the time.

Training will be on again next Tuesday in the astroturf at 6pm.

Players who turned up were Shane Byrne, Rory O’Dwyer, Conor Whelan, Liam Byrne, Ronan Kilkelly, Gary Kilkelly, Alan Keane, Sean Linnane, Mark Deegan, Eoin Whelan, Patrick Whelan, James Cronin, Ritchie Mitchell, Eanna Mongon, Thomas Fordham, Thomas Kavanagh, Dylan McMahon, Fionn Kearns, James O’Hara, Ollie Nilan and John Donohue.

Note: A welcome addition to the squad is John Donohue, Funshin who joined us for the first time this evening.
