Under 14 Hurling Feile Na Gael
Best wishes to our under 14 hurlers who will travel to Omagh Co. Tyrone to take part in Feile na Gael on Fri 19th, Sat 20th and Sun 21st June. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for our players as St. Patricks have never before travelled as guests to Feile.
Those with long memories will remember us hosting Castlebar Mitchells Under 14 Hurlers in 1990 and Carrickmacross Under 14 footballers in 2001. We thank all who supported our Table Quiz in The Archway Bar in Drangan on last Friday night.
County Tipperary under 14 C Football Semi Final
On Saturday last our under 14 footballers were defeated by Portroe in the under 14 C Co semi final by 4-4 to 2-7. This was a game in which some of our players never reached the form of previous games and despite this we only finished 3 points behind at the end.
The team was: Tommy O'Brien, Matthew McCormack McDonald, Jack Cuddihy, Robert Barton, Darragh Hall, Pat Griffin, Michael Ryan, Jack Meagher, Keith Morrissey, Angus McDonald, Pauric O'Brien, Denis Clancy, Michael O'Brien, Aidan Fitzgerald, Cathal Foley, Luke Fox, Fearghal Keane.
Well done to the players and the selectors Declan Morrissey, Eamon Hall and Jimmy O’Brien and to Úna O’Brien who looked after First Aid. Thanks to the parents and grandparents who transported the players to the various games and to our supporters.
