Doubles from Chris Reilly and Bob McKenna helped Dundalk U19s to a 6-1 annihilation of Fanad United at Oriel Park on Saturday afternoon as they got their FAI National U19 League Northern Division season back on track in style, Daniel Hand and Cian Doyle also getting in on the scoring act.
Dundalk took time to grow into the game but when they did they quickly took control with two goals, from Reilly and McKenna, before the break. Fanad pulled one back early in the second half, but a Reilly penalty and a Hand header quickly sealed victory, before Doyle and McKenna added further gloss on the scoreline.
