Under 10's win Cortoon Blitz

Under 10’s Win Cortoon Blitz. We had a great result last Saturday when we retained the Clarke cup at Cortoon Shamrocks. All the team played their part in this great victory. We played Milltown first and we got a good win and with the confidence high we then faced the Tuam stars team and we overcame them in a hard fought victory with some good points by several of our team. this brought us to the final against the hosts, Cortoon Shamrocks who proved to be very tenacious. The lead changed a few times but a goal towards the end of the game and some nervous moments followed while we all waited for the final whistle.There were great displays of football by all members of the squad and the victory was well deserved.Thanks to all the parents and friends who turned out in great numbers to support the team and thanks also to the Cortoon Shamrocks for their hospitality and a great day out.
