Under 14 Championship: St Pats 1-8 Clonmore 7-12

This match started with Clonmore dominating possession but failing to make it count on the score board. St Pats were the quicker to settle and kicked 4 unanswered points.

Eventually Clonmore got off the mark with a point from Dylan Doyle. This was quickly followed by a point from Robert Bulmer. Cathal Foley then scored the 1st of his 3 goals in this half after superb build up play from Robert Bulmer, Billy Lawlor and Dylan Doyle to set him up. St Pats responded with a goal and a point to increase their lead  1-5 to 1-2. But Clonmore hit back with 2 goals and a point from the in form Cathal Foley. To leave the half time score St Pats 1-5 Clonmore 3-3.

In the 2nd half the visitors started where they left off, this time Robert Bulmer raising the green flag with a well taken goal. Points followed for Clonmore from Dylan Doyle (0-2) Rory Maguire (0-1) and Jake Hickey (0-3).

St Pats replied with 3 points, but Clonmore hit back with scores from Cathal Foley (0-1) Luke Connolly (1-1) Conor Evans (1-0) Keith Bowes (1-0) and a great point from Sean Moran for a comprehensive win for Clonmore.
